Raisio plc’s CEO runs the company’s day-to-day administration in accordance with the Board’s guidelines and regulations and in line with the targets set by the Board (general authority), as well as ensures that the company’s accounting complies with legislation and that its asset management arrangements are reliable.

Matti Rihko has been Raisio plc’s CEO since November 2006. He was born in 1962, and he has Master's degree in both Economics and Psychology. He lives in Turku, Finland. His key work history is as follows: Raisio plc 2006: Vice President, Ingredients Division; Altadis SA, Paris 2004-2006: Regional Director Europe; Altadis Finland Oy 1999-2004: CEO, and his key simultaneous positions of trust are: Finnish Food and Drink Industries Federation: Member of working committee and the Board of Directors; Suomen Terveystalo Oy: Member of the Board of Directors; Turku Science Park Oy: Member of the Board of Directors; Turku Chamber of Commerce: Member of the Board of Directors; The University of Turku: Member of the Board of Directors. Rihko holds 242,530 Raisio plc free shares (31 December 2012) and is within the management’s incentive scheme 2010 - 2013, in which the company named Reso Management Oy, owned by him and now five members of the Group Management Team, holds a total of 4,482,740 Raisio plc free shares.

The company has not appointed a deputy to the CEO.
